I help business owners simplify video and look confident on camera.

My gift is breaking down things that feel technical, overwhelming, or confusing into clear, doable steps you can actually follow.

If video has felt harder than it should by now, it’s likely just because it hasn’t been explained simply. That’s exactly what The Camera Era is built to do.

I’ll be inside the community with you throughout the program, guiding you through each step as you learn by doing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I do this with my phone?

The Camera Era is designed to help you confidently use a real camera. While you can follow along with a phone in a limited way, lessons on camera settings and manual controls are specific to cameras. The goal is to help you create higher-quality video using a camera.

DOES THE BRAND OR TYPE OF CAMERA MATTER?

Yes, but you don’t need a specific brand or model. This program will work with most cameras that can record video, allow you to manually control your settings, autofocus, connect to an external microphone, and let you see yourself while filming (like a flip screen or webcam-style setup). If your camera checks those boxes, you’re good to go.

DO YOU RECOMMED A SPECIFIC CAMERA?

If you don’t have a camera yet and are looking to invest in one, I often recommend the Sony ZV-E10. Even though I personally shoot on Nikon, I recommend Sony for students because it’s beginner-friendly, works seamlessly as a webcam without extra subscriptions or capture cards, and is great for filming yourself.

Buying used is also a totally valid option if you want to save money. If you go that route, I recommend purchasing locally so you can see the camera in person before buying and make sure everything works properly.

You don’t need this specific camera to join, but you will need access to a camera by the time the program begins. The Camera Era is designed to work with a variety of cameras, as long as you’re able to film with manual control.

Do you cover editing?

Yes. You’ll learn a simple, repeatable editing process so you know exactly what to do with your footage after recording. The focus is on editing for clarity and efficiency, not getting fancy or technical.

Is there any other gear I need?

You’ll need a camera, a memory card that can handle video, a way to stabilize your camera (like a tripod), and an external microphone for clear audio. I’ll walk you through how to use everything inside the program.
